“ Commissioned sales running service dept is not an enjoyable model for the customer. I've now had 5 bad/mediocre experiences and only 2 good ones across the two Honda dealerships I've tried. (3 if you count this used to be South Bay Honda before Piercey, which provided one of the good service interactions). Was going in for an oil change and asked for recommendations on 95k mike service. First estimate was $3300 + tax for 'routine service' Not being able to afford that I committed to $1600 worth of work. First thing in the morning I got a call saying I needed new brake pads and my rotors turned because of 'pulsation' which the sales person could not define. She did not sound happy about her work or interested in talking to customers, which makes it harder as a customer to enjoy paying money. Also said i had a headlight out. I can confirm it was not out on the drive before it went to the dealer. So it must have gone out when the tech started the car. What luck. New quote $$2600+tax, which she was nice enough to give me a discount on. 3 stars instead of less because of the nominal discount, and they got my car back to me in 24hrs. Not a bad turn around for a couple grand. ”

“ I took my 2018 Civic Type R for inspection as there was a screeching sound whenever I would turn the wheels. Edward was the service advisor who helped me. He greeted me in a kindly manner, and told me he would try to do everything to help me. The same day, he called me and informed me that my electronic steering rack had to be replaced and that they were going to cover it. After a week, Edward called me to let me know my car was all done. I did not have to pay anything!!! Many thanks to Edward for all of his help. I will definitely be returning to have my car serviced here. ”

He sets the standards for how customers should receive customer service! He is always straight forward with me about what needs to be done to my car and what can wait. I used to go to the Honda on Steven's Creek, where I purchased my car, and the service there has seriously declined.
